Market study

As a first step, we analyzed the market and interviewed stakeholders to analyze their needs.

How we proceeded

We first researched information about connected equipment in hospitals, related cybersecurity threats, related needs (including legislation) and how existing competitors are responding.

Then, we distributed a questionnaire to hospitals and equipment manufacturers medical professionals to assess their needs. Faced with the lack of answers, we went to a more qualitative approach and we conducted interviews with CTO/CISO of a hospital group, a biomedical engineer and manufacturers. All those interviews were conducted in France.

We also presented them with a prototype application of management of updates for manufacturers of medical equipment, carried out in no-code on figma. We were able to improve it over time thanks to their feedback.

This allowed to highlight the pains that stakeholders currently have and allowed to carry out a specification of what would be necessary to address them.
